Church Partnerships

Your Church Can Make a Lasting Difference |
Creating Brighter Futures for Ohio’s Families

Founded as a Methodist ministry in 1911, UMCF has remained rooted in faith and service for more than a century. Our mission continues to grow through the partnership of churches and ministries within the Western Ohio Conference (WOC). The compassion of the WOC has helped us grow to serve more than 2,000 children and families each year through Adoption, Treatment Foster Care, Outpatient Family Mental Health, and Transitional Age Youth programs.

While our Methodist foundation guides our work, we welcome partnerships with any church that feels called to serve. As you consider your blessings, we invite you and your congregation to join us – together, we can bring hope, healing, and brighter futures to children and families across Ohio.

Invite Us to Share the Impact of Your Support

We would love to visit your church, ministry, or United Women in Faith group to share about UMCF’s mission, programs, and the difference your support makes for children and families across Ohio. Whether it’s a Sunday service, a special event, a table at a church gathering, or a more intimate meeting with your ministry group, we’re happy to tailor the visit to your needs. If your church is exploring ways to support foster care or learn more about becoming a foster parent, we’re here to guide and inspire. Even during times when a pastor is away, we can step in to connect with your congregation and share this important work.

To schedule a visit please contact Alondra Key akey@umcf.org or (614) 556-9951 – we can’t wait to partner with you!

$5 on the 5th - A Small Gift, Big Impact

Your $5 can provide love, safety, and healing for Ohio’s children. On months with a fifth Sunday, we invite everyone in worship to give just $5… or more to support Ohio’s children and families. These small gifts add up, helping provide loving foster homes, outpatient mental health counseling, and adoptive families for children in need. The need is great, but together, we can bring hope, healing, and brighter futures. God is at work through your generosity; thank you for making a difference with UMCF.

For your convenience we have the following assets available to help share this mission in your church:
